The school was founded by Ms. Delphine Mselle in 2016. It started as a Hostel that accommodated boys studying at the Chief Dodo secondary Government School. It was hard to run due to financial constraints that made the owner shift to an English medium primary school in 2017.  The primary school started with one class that registered 9 kids 2017 who started kindergarten. The number of children kept increasing steadily from one year to another (figure 1).  Most of these pupils (67%) moved from the owners’ home in Arusha and from neighborhood houses who were living in extreme poverty. It was hard to provide holistic support (clothing, food, learning materials, medications, etc); however, the owner had to sell her properties to develop the school while managing the school at the same time. The vision of reaching the underserved communities has scaled up to other villages including Endabergy and Duru in Babati district and, Morombo in Arusha. We are still exploring other areas where communities collaborate for quality education.
